No time to document your journey, let OnRoute

We all know when you’re travelling you enter a different world, all of a sudden you’re noticing the landscape, the way the trees look different, the smell of the local food wafting in the wind.

I remember as I sat above the rooftops of a small village in Tuscany, I saw the sparrows floating across the terracotta rooftops, the red against the clear blue sky and the hills for miles in the distance. I remember thinking every single person I meet must know about this place!

This was many years ago before smartphones really took off, I was rocking an iPhone 3 and the best images were taken with a trusty camera.

Fast forward to now and we have apps coming out the wazoo.

Which is actually pretty awesome, tech has made our lives better. With OnRoute the ability to document your journey while you’re on it, without actually having to do it while you’re doing it is a simple yet effective way to go back and create the memory you know the moment deserves.

It’s usually after the moment we realise we should have documented we were there, sometimes we don’t even realise the significance of a spot until days or weeks later.

OnRoute Will Be The Travel Companion That’s With You The Whole Way.

Travelling With Friends?

So you’re OnRoute to Your Hens Party weekend, or maybe you’re meeting up with friends abroad, no matter what activity the need for one place to connect and find each other is super valuable.

OnRoute will solve this issue for you, everyone is invited to the one journey, and everyone can see where the other is OnRoute to the destination.

This will change the way you travel. Everyone can choose the way they travel, I know I was always a train girl, my friends preferred to fly.

We are all trying to meet in the same place and when you’re tracking each other’s journey with OnRoute you will know where on the map they are! Which for me was huge, my friends would always stop to buy things at customs, meaning it could be hours before they have even left the airport.

An extra hour to do a quick walking tour of the Parisian food spots sounds better than waiting unknowingly where my co-travelers are at a train station.

It’s easily the worst time waster ever!!! Use OnRoute to stay connected in real time and never get stuck waiting around not knowing what’s going on!

With Friends in Queensland!

Had An Unreal Experience, that you have to SHARE, use OnRoute.

When I was in England I spent a lot of time up the top end near the beautiful Lakes district. I did a car trip from Carlisle to Edinburgh with a friend and we stumbled across some of the most magical landscapes and off the beaten track spots that have been imprinted in my mind forever.

This is one of those times where absolutely need to share it with people like me who love and live TRAVEL. If you have ever hired a car and gone off the map, literally winging it you know one thing,

It’s almost impossible to recreate the trip once you have done it.

Some of the little back roads and laneways we took were impossible to remember, but with OnRoute you can track your trip and recreate it again with friends, or share it so others can experience the same joy!

The cool part is you can go find others who have done the same trip and see what hidden gems they discovered that might not have been part of your experience, making the next trip a whole new adventure!

Find Culture, Adventure & Travel Motivation When The OnRoute App Launches!

We are so excited for the Launch of the OnRoute App. This app has come out of the necessity we experienced on our own journeys to find culture, adventure, and motivation but mostly to travel at the moment while still staying connected, without having to be totally connected!

The app is in it’s beta stage and we are getting ready for the launch. We want you to know everything that’s happening along the way, become a subscriber and join the crew as the app unfolds! There is nothing more exciting than being a part of it.

If you want to learn more about how to get involved, or if you are interested in helping with the project, head over to the OnRoute Facebook Group.
